A growing, Houston-based professional services firm, G&A Partners is currently seeking a Onboarding Project Manager to join our team in our Corporate Office in Houston, TX or one of our satellite offices.  Fully remote opportunities are also available for the right candidate.  

 

The Onboarding Project Manager is the primary liaison between new clients, internal and sales staff during the new client onboarding process.  The Onboarding Project Manager oversees the transition of new clients onto the G&A Platform. Uses a consultative approach to assess current state, map to the PEO co-employment structure and develop solutions where gaps exist. Manages client expectations throughout onboarding, anticipates and provides solutions to client issues to ensure a smooth transition. This is accomplished through the coordination and facilitation of new client welcome calls/emails, status meetings, gathering of pertinent client information to complete the appropriate set up in the technology application systems, training and support of the client to accomplish successful processing of their first payroll.  Owns the results of Net Promoter Score survey results and overall client satisfaction throughout the onboarding process.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage multiple client onboardings concurrently.
  • Confirm the information provided during the sales handoff is accurate and in line with the client’s expectations.
  • Manage the new client onboarding process from contract execution and throughout the onboarding phase of the client relationship.
  • Ensure the client’s understanding of the co-employment relationship.
  • Initiate and oversee the implementation of the products and services outlined in the customer service agreement.
  • Coordinate and facilitate recurring client status meetings and oversee the onboarding of all accounts.
  • Participate in prospect meetings and conference calls to ensure a smooth onboarding experience, as requested by the Business Advisors.
  • Manage/oversee the completion of inter-departmental tasks/projects and provide timely and accurate updates on project status to the client.
  • Oversee and monitor payroll, benefit, and technology implementations of new clients through the transition of the account to the ongoing client service team.
  • Act as liaison/facilitator across technical and operational departments to resolve onboarding issues as necessary to meet the client’s needs and go-live timeline requirements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the client and employee orientation meetings, onsite or via webinar.
  • Responsible for managing communication of new clients to appropriate departments within the G&A organization.
  • Educate the Client Advocate and ongoing client service team on outstanding projects and the client’s needs and expectations; remain engaged on an as needed basis.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Three or more years of experience managing large projects
  • Three or more years of experience working in an implementation or related role, with an emphasis payroll and HR implementations, and systems implementations, preferably within a PEO or client service setting
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management certification is desired but not required
