With offices across the country, this role may be hybrid or fully remote for the right candidate.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Staff Accountant you will perform hands-on, full-cycle accounting work for clients across a variety of sizes and industries and work with a team of experienced accountants who will train and mentor you. Most of your work will be in a supporting role, but you will also get the opportunity to act as the primary liaison on select smaller engagements, providing the real-world experience necessary to quickly move up the ladder.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile bank statements.
  • Enter and pay accounts payable invoices.
  • Prepare and send customer invoices.
  • Prepare standard and non-standard journal entries.
  • Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly client financial reports within specified deadlines.
  • Support Sr. Accountants, Accounting Managers, and Controllers on recurring tasks and with special projects.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 1+ years of accounting experience, with a strong preference to outsourced accounting experience.
  • Excellent people, customer service, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Extremely detail oriented and focused on completion and follow up.
  • Strong collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability and desire to multi-task and take on multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent work habits and self-motivation.
  • A passion for building and being part of a team.
