A growing, Houston-based professional services firm, G&A Partners is currently seeking an Administrative Assistance to join its team at the G&A satellite office located in San Antonio, Texas.

Summary

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support for G&A Partner’s Vice President of Health and Welfare, and the benefits team, including interaction with carriers and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct calls; schedule and arrange group conference calls and Web-Ex meetings.
  • Coordinate meeting and travel arrangements as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain correspondence, presentations, and files.
  • Prepare and send out a monthly email to the Benefits department, and other communications as requested.
  • Compile and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents and other items as needed.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with other departments, staff and coworkers to make sure we exceed the customer's expectations and needs.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality with regards to all internal, external matters and other material as deemed necessary.
  • Track information in our CRM system.
  • Generate spreadsheets, run reports, prepare and edit collateral as needed.
  • Work with carriers to update logins, applications, appointments, and licensing.
  • General office management, including ordering supplies, cleaning and maintenance of all shared spaces in the office (kitchen, copy room, break room, etc.), refreshments, office mail, general basic IT projects, building maintenance scheduling, planning and executing successful events for the San Antonio office, etc.
  • This is an in-person position, not remote. Will be required to work in the office 5 days a week.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma; some college is preferred.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years administrative support experience, some Benefits or Brokerage experience a plus.
    Above average ability to enter and handle data accurately, with attention to detail and a high degree of confidentiality.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with Associates throughout the Company and outside contacts.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel and Power Point); Google products and CRM experience preferred.
