A growing, Houston-based professional services firm, G&A Partners is currently seeking a Treasury Analyst to join its team at the corporate office located in Houston, TX.

Summary

The treasury analyst will conduct treasury operational and project activities for the USA region of G&A Partners to ensure liquidity of and controls over cash management.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies business operations trends and patterns using various systems and methodologies for analyzing and reviewing information and data.
  • Works directly with internal departmental staff to understand project concepts, objectives and approaches.
  • Takes assigned project from original concept through final implementation.
  • Tests documented strategies and plans.
  • Analyzes impact on, and risks to, essential business functions or information systems to identify acceptable recovery time periods and resource requirements.

Other Duties:

  • Manages incoming requests for assistance, including prioritizing and managing client expectations. Tracks all work performed in CRM solution.
  • Lead requirements gathering (user voice, use case and “as is/to be” documentation) and develop specifications including work/process flows, narrative descriptions, and user interface designs for trading platform and operational system enhancements
  • Test platform product concepts with stakeholders, including external customers, to validate design integrity and usability
  • Communicate between the Technology team and business unit leader to manage issue resolution
  • Writes reports to summarize testing activities, including descriptions of goals, planning, scheduling, execution, results, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Acts as liaison between internal & external client and the software development staff as well as the support staff

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Accounting

Skills & Experience:

  • 0-2 years of corporate treasury experience; including bank cash and treasury systems preferred but NOT REQUIRED
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Salary

Starting wage is $21.63/hr - $23.50/hr.

The starting range represents the low and high end of the G&A Partners’ range for this position. Actual wages will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of G&A’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include commissions, annual bonuses, and program specific rewards. In addition, G&A Partners provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending, ancillary benefits, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
