A growing, Houston-based professional services firm, G&A Partners is currently seeking a HCM Systems Specialist to join its team at the G&A satellite office in Henderson, NV, or in a fully remote capacity.

Summary

This position is responsible for a full range of activities involving system configuration, client support, operations support and troubleshooting the isolved HCM system. A strong understanding of federal and state labor laws is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with Director of HCM Systems to understand project concepts, objectives, and approaches.
• Applies knowledge of system technology to develop the best approach to meet project objectives.
• Manages deliverables, timelines, and due dates for assigned projects
• Prioritize tasks based on severity and client impact.
• Communicates and sets expectations with management on project status and completion.
• Takes assigned project from original concept through final implementation.
• Collaborate with team members on data entry, setup, and testing tasks to maintain a high level of service and system performance.
• Works independently making decisions and suggests alternative solutions utilizing good judgement.
• Takes ownership of isolved maintenance and management, by serving as the relationship manager and liaison between our company and isolved.
• Disseminates information related to software releases and outages.
• Conducts user training on software, new functionality, and operational procedures.
• Performs testing and provides documented results, including expected outcome and recommendations for change.
• Identifies opportunities for strategic improvement or mitigation of business interruption and other risks caused by business, regulatory, or industry-specific change initiatives.
• Regularly takes a consultative approach working with clients to customize and configure the isolved platform to meet client needs and specifications.

Other Duties:
• Manages incoming requests for assistance, including prioritizing and managing the team and client expectations.
• Works with multiple methods of communication required i.e., phone, email and in person, etc.
• Maintains third party vendor relationships as assigned.
• Escalates issues and involves management in situations and/or projects as needed.
• Apply strong knowledge and understanding of systems and workflow process mapping and application integration.
• Establishes best practices pertaining to integration and application development, deployment and testing.
• Identifies and recommends ways to build and enhance department process scalability and efficiency in the utilization of our services, products and related technologies for a rapidly growing organization and end user population.
• Develops training materials, conducts training for team members, and provides ongoing training and on-call support to existing client users.
• Interfaces with the sales, marketing, and service teams to ensure proper reporting and processes are in place.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience working on the isolved HCM platform. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
  • Experience configuring isolved Time & Attendance module is required.
  • Understands other processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise.
  • Understands fundamentals of software development processes and procedures.
  • Has a technical understanding of infrastructure components, their dependencies, and interactions between servers, virtual systems, networks, databases, web applications, etc.
  • Ability to work accurately and effectively even when under pressure.
  • Ability to anticipate upcoming issues and work out potential solutions in advance.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Must have strong and effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and support across multiple implementations.
  • Ability to proactively participate in customer engagements, follow directions from others, work with customers, and participate in technical planning
  • Prior isolved knowledge is required
  • Microsoft Office Suite preferred

Salary

Starting wage is $90,000 to $110,000

The starting range represents the low and high end of the G&A Partners’ range for this position. Actual wages will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of G&A’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include commissions, annual bonuses, and program specific rewards. In addition, G&A Partners provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending, ancillary benefits, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
